This project consisted of the construction of 6 No. two storey 3 & 4 bedroom social homes for Leitrim County Council. This was a very difficult sloping site which involved a lot of excavation and construction of retaining walls before construction of the houses took place.

The construction generally comprised of deep dig trench foundations filled with lean mix concrete and reinforced strip foundations with solid rising walls and in situ reinforced concrete suspended ground floors; external rendered block work insulated cavity walls; timber stairs; prefabricated timber roof trusses with concrete tile covering; uPVC windows and solid hardwood external doors. Electrical and mechanical services were carried out by our own domestic sub contractors. As part of the Mechanical installation, solar panels were used as an alternative means to heat water. Associated site works included retaining walls, railings, road works and landscaping.
