This project consisted of a new extension and demolition of internal partitions and ceilings including all existing mechanical and electrical fittings to provide new layouts of classrooms and ancillary rooms; external façade alterations on all three existing elevations consisting of the creation of new window and door openings. Internally the construction generally comprised of plasterboard studded partitions; suspended ceilings; fitted furniture; floor covering and decoration. The new extension comprised of in situ concrete strip foundations; plastered insulated cavity block work walls; timber rafter roof with metal sheet cladding and aluminium window and door units. There were associated Mechanical and Electrical installations along with external site works & services.
