Having recently completed the construction of a nearby business/industrial development, PJT were employed by Sligo Enterprise to deliver a new business & technology centre adjoining Sligo Airport. Phase 1 consisted of 23,000 ft² of offices and retail units over 2 floors whilst Phase 2 consisted of a new two storey building totalling 32,000 ft², housing individual various sized offices; meeting rooms; staff rooms & reception areas.
The construction generally comprised of reinforced concrete pad and strip foundations; solid rising walls; structural steel frame; external facing block work with insulated cavity; precast concrete floor and stair units; Kingspan insulated roof cladding; powder coated aluminium window and door units; mechanical, electrical and lift installations along with associated site works including extensive carparking and landscaping.
Sligo Enterprise Centre was a ‘live’ occupied complex which remained fully operational whilst works progressed. The safety of both our direct employees/sub contractors together with employees of the existing estate and general public was of the utmost importance. The project was finished to a very high spec, turn-key finish. We completed all these works including floor coverings; wall and floor tiling; fitted and loose furniture & decoration.
